STANDARD DPA,
CHOICE DPA,

and PEACH VETERAN ASSISTANCE.

GEORGIA DREAM Approved Housing Counseling Agencies
Homebuyer counseling is required for ALL Georgia Dream Loans… Which is to say: Homebuyers MUST take a class - BEFORE closing!
Borrowers must attend and complete either a homebuyer education workshop, OR, individual housing counseling sessions, OR an online homebuyer education course through E-Home America.
The E-Home America Online Homebuyer Course is offered for $50. It covers key homebuying topics like budgeting, credit, mortgages, and homeownership.
Income-based vouchers are available for eligible homebuyers, with lenders submitting a Certification of Income Form to request a voucher to offset the $50 course cost.
Workshops and counseling sessions must be completed with one of the DCA-Certified Housing Counseling Agencies listed below or with a HUD-Approved Housing Counseling Agency.
A certificate will be issue to you when you pass the test.
Don’t let that to intimidate you - EVER!
AND/OR think that you will not pass the class therefore you will not be able to attain your house!
It is NOT a ‘gotcha’ thing: In the event you do NOT pass at first, you will be able to make it up TILL YOU Pass!
By the way - it is all good sense day-to-day practical knowledge!
